I will confess that I’m a huge nerd. My friend, Ruth, has been pestering me to read Harry Potter for a few years now. Every single time I’ve turned her down and made fun of the idea. Shame on me, right? Well, a couple of weeks ago (July 8th to be exact) I was at a Todd’s house and Chamber of Secrets happened to be on TV, so my friends and I watched it to kill time. At the end of the movie, I was hooked. On the way back from Todd’s I stopped by Ruth’s house and asked her to lend me all of her Harry Potter books so I could finish them by the time the seventh book was released. Needless to say, that was the fastest I’ve ever read a series of books in my entire life. I finished books 1-6 at 10:30 PM at the bookstore.

Waldenbooks only had enough copies for all of their reservations leaving both myself and Ruth’s older sister bookless. Luckily Meijer had a big stash. To end the weekend, I went to see Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix. I’m exited for the next two movies.
